Thank You To Everyone Who Supported Songwriters Night 2014

On Saturday, November 8th, TVC staff, supporters, and fans from across the U.S. gathered at the Listening Room Cafe in downtown Nashville to show their generosity and support for our organization.

Time and talent was so graciously donated by award-winning country music artist, Rodney Atkins, award-winning singer/songwriter Rose Falcon, & award-winning artist Ira Dean. Everyone was inspired and touched by the words and giving hearts of all three artists. Atkins even presented autographed guitars to three of his biggest fans at the event— all being youth who struggle with mental illness. After a VIP Cocktail Meet and Greet with the artists, guests enjoyed dinner and visiting the silent auction, which was filled with items from several local Nashville businesses who kindly donated. Also featured were autographed items by various country artists including the legendary, Loretta Lynn. Surprise guest, award-winning singer/songwriter, Billy Falcon, took the stage and gave an emotional performance.

After thank you’s from CEO, Rikki Harris, and sponsor highlights, Rodney and Rose delivered their “in the round” performance. With the crowd cheering and singing along we heard several of Rodney’s #1 hits, including “Watching You,” “Cleaning this Gun,” “These Are My People,” “If You’re Going Through Hell,” and many more. With increased attendance and ticket sales, silent auction revenue up, and a wave of TVC social media coverage, we couldn’t have asked for a more successful night!

Our goal is not only to raise funds to help support TVC, but is to continue to increase awareness for children’s mental health.

Everyone Enjoyed Amazing Preformances From These Artists!
