The School Based Behavioral Health Liaison (SBBHL) program provides Masters level mental health clinicians to assist schools in implementing universal, trauma informed practices that prevent and/or mitigate the effects of trauma for students with a Social Emotional Disturbance (SED).
The SBBHL program provides support and consultation to teachers and school personnel in implementing schoolwide trauma-informed practices. It also offers training and education to school personnel in behavioral health topics and trauma-informed approaches.
This program is available in Houston, Macon, Trousdale, and Wayne counties.
